Standing committees of Village Panchayat Cotigao and their functions
As per the Goa Panchayati Raj Act, the following standing committees are constituted for efficient governance of Village Panchayat Cotigao.
Oversees all public works including roads, drains, public buildings, water supply and lighting.
Responsible for public health measures, sanitation, waste management and hygiene awareness.
Promotes education, social welfare schemes and community development programmes.
Reviews budget, expenditures, tax assessments and financial management of the panchayat.
